Grass Supplement
Lawn supplementation
Replanting (replacement) is the process of planting new grass in areas where the grass has died due to excessive trampling or pests.
Lawn care is a labor-intensive project.

Replanting (補植 replacement) is the process of planting new grass in areas where the grass has died due to excessive pressure or pests. It is usually done at a rate of 500 to 1,000 pyeong per year per golf course.
Lawn care order
1) Remove unsuitable grass using a sod cutter .
2) Prepare the raft .
- Soil thickness: approximately 3.8 to 5 cm, general soil thickness is 1.2 to 1.9 cm
- Size of the turf: 40cm x 40cm
3) Fertilize . Fertilize with lime if possible.
-Lightly mix the soil and fertilizer.
- Apply fertilizer. 100g/m2 of Negaup or 10g/m2 of nitrogen.
4) Take supplements .
- Level the ground surface of the lawn planting area and adjust the gradient to facilitate drainage and removal of foreign substances.
Lay the sod with a 5cm gap between the grasses.
- Spread a thick layer of mulch on the grooves between the turf and on the surface of the grass, and when the soil dries, scrape the surface to expose about 2/3 of the grass blades.
- Press down with your feet or roll the surface with a shovel or similar tool to compact the grass.
5) Water thoroughly: Water for more than 10 days after planting, and in the morning and evening during high temperature periods.
-It is said that in spring, additional application of a penetrant called saturide (nonionic surfactant) is good for preventing drying.
6) Lawn compaction : Roller or vibrating compactor (compactor): In the case of roller compaction, the grass may be pushed during compaction, widening the spacing between rows, so vibrating compactors are also widely used.
Reseeding (interseeding) : This refers to the additional sowing of grass in a lawn with a low density. It also refers to the additional sowing of grass in areas with poor germination. The sowing of a mixture of seed and sand in a certain ratio in an existing lawn to repair divots and damaged grass surfaces is also called interseeding.

Turfgrass Sod,

Types of rafts.
- General turfgrass sod: grass of 18cm×18cm or less, 30cm×30cm or less
- Roll Turfgrass Sod: Grass of 40cm×60cm, 40cm×100cm or more, generally roll-shaped grass of 1m or more
- Mixed Turfgrass Sod : A type of grass produced by mixing similar types of grass with similar leaf color, leaf width, and height, i.e., a type of grass produced to maximize the strengths of both types of grass and improve their weaknesses.
Combination 1) Korean grass + Bermuda grass, Combination 2) Korean grass + Kentucky bluegrass, Combination 3) Kentucky bluegrass + Perennial ryegrass, Combination 4) Kentucky bluegrass + Tall fescue, Combination 5) Kentucky bluegrass + Creeping bentgrass, Combination 5) Kentucky bluegrass + Creeping bentgrass, Combination 6) Artificial grass + Kentucky bluegrass
How to work the turf
1. Groundwork: Remove large debris, trash, etc. scattered around the construction site, cultivate the ground to a depth of 20 cm, break up clods of soil into small pieces, and remove impurities such as stones and weeds.
2. Pasting grass
- Full-coverage turf is laid by compacting the ground after soil improvement and leveling with a roller or manpower, and then turf is laid. Regular turf is laid over the entire ground without any gaps or is laid with gaps of 1 to 2 cm, then sand or sandy soil is sprinkled on, and then compacted again with a roller or manpower, and then watered sufficiently. Roll-type turf is laid over the entire ground without any gaps, lightly sprinkled with sand or sandy soil, then compacted with a roller, and then watered sufficiently.
- For the rope-laying method, cut the lawn into 5, 10, 15, and 20cm pieces and plant them at intervals of 15, 20, and 30cm. In special cases, follow the design and special specifications. Since the spacing between the sods is wide, use a hoe or pickaxe to dig up the topsoil so that the grass roots are buried in the soil.
- For the staggered gluing, the sod is laid out staggered at intervals of 20 to 30 cm or arranged so that there is room to interlock with each other, and the topsoil is dug up with a hoe or pickaxe so that the grass roots are buried in the soil.
la.
- Stolonizing or sprigging is cutting the prostrate or underground stems of grass from the lawn to about 5-10 cm, spreading them, and then covering them with soil so that the grass roots are buried.
3. Fixing the grass
-When attaching grass to a slope, secure the grass with two stakes per sheet of sod to prevent it from moving.
- After fixing the sod, fill the space between the sod with sandy soil so that the roots are not exposed, and compact the grass planting surface with manpower or a roller.
- After planting, remove and organize any remaining sod, stones, other debris, trash, etc.
